ACCA June 2009 Exam Results
Dear friends, I wish to share a
bit of good news achieved with my ACCA F2, F3 and F5 classes in the Jan 2009 intake. The passing rates for ALL three classes exceeded the standards for Singapore and international level. Another notable statistic is the whopping 90% passing rate achieved for ACCA F2 Class. I acknowledge the effort put in by each and every student in my class. You are the best!! Wish you more successes in your ACCA journey.

MBA to start for Edgar
On the last minute of Sep 9, 2009, I signed the second document required
to complete my admission to University of Strathclyde MBA programme. The cheque for the first instalment was subsequently
cleared by their local representative. Why such long lag between start
of application process and completion? Well beside waiting for the University to decide and prepare the offer letter, I was
distracted by the possibility of tapping on government grant in furthering my education. I was also hesitating at the level
of commitment required to complete the journey. My mind was trying to estimate
the commitment of time, effort and financial resources needed to complete.On the one hand, one have to make
a living in uncertain future and business environment and also be responsible to the many stakeholders working with me. On
the other hand, I really want to be able to learn from the MBA programme. It is not an easy decision in every aspect. I do believe some sacrifices somewhere would be in order. Till my next posting.. take care my friends.
